Below you will find a few comments or quotes from participants and organisers who have tried the karate sessions:-

"I approached Stuart to enquire about providing a karate session for a group I was supporting. I was impressed by the pertinent questions he asked and the sensitivity he showed towards the group. In addition, I was struck by the flexibility of the programme which was adapted to meet the needs of the group. The fact that Stuart has been invited to return and deliver further sessions is testament to the quality of the service he provided."

This is just to say a big thankyou for the karate session you undertook here at Bury Family Centre last week with the SoDA.The women said they had not enjoyed themselves so much in ages and felt that they got a lot out of it. One of them said she felt 'more effective and purposeful', determined to have a more positive outlook.
The shared experience of practicing the moves helped build trust and rapport between the women.
